40+ years of scholarships
A longstanding Rotary tradition supporting generations of Shrewsbury students.
When young people serve, the whole community benefits.
Students who volunteer, organize projects, help neighbors, and lead with compassion are already making Shrewsbury a better place. Recognizing their work sends an important message: service matters, and their contributions are seen.
Our scholarships help students continue their education while encouraging a lifelong commitment to helping others. We are proud to celebrate not just what these young people have achieved, but the difference they choose to make.
2027 Applications: Opening Early 2027
Applications are expected to open in January or February 2027. The application form, deadline, and submission instructions will be posted when the cycle begins.
Based on recent program requirements, graduating seniors who live in Shrewsbury or attend high school in Shrewsbury are eligible to apply. Please refer to the forthcoming 2027 application for final eligibility and requirements.

A Legacy of Service. A Future of Possibility.
For more than 40 years, the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury has recognized and supported young people committed to serving others. Over the decades, countless students have received Rotary scholarships, carrying their talents, ambitions, and spirit of service into education, careers, and communities beyond Shrewsbury. Today, that tradition continues through our annual scholarship program, honoring students who embody Service Above Self.
We are proud of the students who have received this recognition and the many ways they contribute to their schools, neighbors, and community.
Our published online recipient records cover only part of this 40-plus-year history. We hope to share more alumni stories and photos as they become available.
Where service takes them
Scholarship recipients have returned to Rotary meetings to share their aspirations and next steps. For example, members heard from the 2025 recipients about their plans in engineering and medical fields.
We hope to grow this space with brief student-approved profiles highlighting the causes recipients supported, the projects they led, and how service continues to shape their lives. Are you a past recipient? We'd love to hear your story.
Help us recognize the next generation of community leaders.
