Community Fridge
Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Take what you need. Give what you can. Leave some when you can.
Our community fridge provides free, supplemental food to anyone who needs it. No applications. No income requirements. No judgment. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

Need Food?
You are welcome here. Take food that will help you or your household. Please consider neighbors who may visit after you.
Location and access โWant to Give?
One extra grocery item or a small recurring contribution can make a real difference. Smaller, frequent donations help keep food flowing.
Donation guidelines โBecome a Fridge Friend
Businesses, faith communities, civic groups and neighbors can help create a more dependable flow of food through simple recurring commitments.
Explore partnerships โGood food. Stronger neighbors.
The Shrewsbury Community Fridge is a shared community resource started by the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury in 2022. It works because people contribute what they can and take what they need.
Food availability depends on donations and can change throughout the day. The fridge is intended to supplement other food resources, not replace a food pantry or a reliable grocery supply.
We do not ask visitors to explain their circumstances. A person's appearance, vehicle, or the amount they collect cannot tell us whom they may be helping. We ask everyone to be thoughtful about the neighbors who may come next.
One extra item. One stronger community.
Next time you shop, consider adding one extra item for the fridge. If possible, spread donations across the month rather than making one large drop-off. Food can move quickly, and frequent donations create more chances for neighbors to find something useful.
