Shrewsbury Community Fridge

On May 31, 2022 the Shrewsbury Rotary Club opened the Community Fridge, located at the Shrewsbury Senior Center. This year long project in the making was focused on providing the community an accessible place for people to for food if they need it.
Our club is proud of this initiative which has brought the community together to support each other. It's taken off in ways we couldn't have imaged with an active Facebook Community and a several dedicated community members that provide ongoing support.

The Rotary Club continues to support the upkeep of the fridge as well as regularly provides food to it, purchasing $200 a month from the money the club raises each year.

In addition, Wegmans of Northborough and Panera Bread of Shrewsbury also donates food weekly to the fridge. The town graciously donated the electricity of the club which is an estimated $60 year.

To alert our club of an issue with the fridge email us at : Shrewsburycommunityfridge@gmail.com
