Hello everyone!

 

The next board meeting is Monday, August 8^th at noon via zoom. I will include the login information at the end of this message. While only board members can vote, all are welcome to attend the board meeting. At this month’s meeting we will:

 

Please note that the DG will visit our club on September 19^th. As is customary, the DG has asked to meet with the board 30 minutes prior to the regular meeting. If you are a board member, please mark your calendar now so that you may attend. We will meet at 11:30 am that day as a board and continue with our regular meeting at 12:15 for those who are able to stay.

 

On August 15^th we will meet for Club Assembly. While it is a bit earlier than we planned on, I would like to talk about our meeting schedule and how to best proceed going forward. Lori put together a calendar for the year that we can consider when adopting a meeting format to follow long-term.  There are several months where a Monday holiday will impact our meeting schedule. There are also instances where a month has 5 Mondays. The proposed calendar uses those extra Mondays to allow us to have 2 in person meetings per month. Again, this is just a draft and will help to guide our discussion and decision.
