Emileigh Tivnan was the most charming and aggressive solicitor of toiletries when the Shrewsbury Rotary and Lions joined forces to collect them for clients of Veterans Inc. While people walked past adult Rotarians and Lions without giving an opportunity to explain what we were collecting and for whom, as we stood in the entry way of Price Chopper supermarket, no one could resist Emileigh. She would simply approach shoppers with a list of suggested items, a smile and an invitation: "Will you make a donation?"With thanks for her invaluable assistance in the collection, the club awarded Emileigh her very own " Rotarian at Work" T-shirt. Of course it will be a couple of years before the shirt will fit her properly, but—in the meantime—she can wear it as a dress.
